Vocalist
Lindiwe
means the one we’ve been waiting for. She is definitely what the
entertainment industry have been waiting for with a proven track record
having worked as a singer, international celebrity fashion stylist and television presenter. She should be better known as a triple threat. Music
has been in Lindiwe’s life since she started playing the flute at an
early age. She is a talented international singer and songwriter that
has worked in Europe, US and South Africa. She has been working in
Hamburg, Germany with talented producer, Benni Dernhoff. She is
currently working with South African and international musicians and
producers to complete her debut album. Lindiwe
built her name in the fashion world having styled big name celebrities
like Beyonce Knowles, Cynthia Nixon, Ciara, Vivica A. Fox, Naomie
Harris and working for brands like DKNY, Kenneth Cole and J. Crew. Like
mother like daughter; Lindiwe is the daughter of Felicia Mabuza-Suttle,
the South African television talk show host better known as the ‘Oprah
of South Africa’. Following in her mother’s footsteps
and her secret yearning to move in front of the camera, she hired a
television crew and shot her own television pilot with a mission of
giving South African fashion the international exposure she believes it
deserves. Her television pilot was picked up by the Africa Channel
(US/UK) and she has been working as a television presenter for the
channel ever since.

Guitarist/Vocalist/Composer
Guillaume spends his time with a eye on elevating the South African music industry as best he can. Being a well accomplished guitarist, Guillaume is very active with the education of aspiring young musicians and teaching them the instrument that caught his attention at a young age. As well as teaching at the legendary Jazz Workshop music school in Cape Town, Guillaume has set up a independent recording studio to help create a affordable recording platform for musicians from across the globe. Guillaume as performed at countless venues and festivals around South Africa and has shared the stage with many national and international greats. As the founder and owner of Abbott Audio Recording Studio Cape Town, Guillaume has composed and arranged a series of authentic music and is now showcasing it live with his latest interest.......Abbott Nu Jazz

Drummer/Percussionist
Texito was born June 1979
in Maputo, Mozambique. Since a young age, Texito took a great interest
in music. In 1984 his father enrolled him at the local music school in
Maputo. Not long after this in 1989, Texito moved up the ranks and got
offered a spot at a international music school. With out even one drum
lesson, Texito got placed as the drummer for his new school band “Os
Passaros da Musica”. Since then Texito’s music career has been more
than fruitful. His rock steady rhythm and creative flair has lead him
to perform alongside many great musicians such as Moses Molelekwa and
Gito Baloi. He has featured on many national and international albums
as well as performing for various audiences around the world. Texito’s
versatility knows no boundaries and he has done a remarkable amount of
work across many genres.
Bassist
Desley
is a well accomplished bass player who has featured on many South
African albums as well as performed around many venues and festivals
around the country. Desley has a strong rhythmical and melodic touch
that comes across strongly in his playing. With a gospel background,
Desley’s performance is very groove orientated and he is the perfect
pillar to keep a rhythm section together and moving.

Vocalist/Songwriter
Judite has
been singing since the tender age of 13. Since then she has gained a
significant amount of experience in multiple facets of the entertainment
industry. Having spent many years on the Garden root music scene, Judite
captivated audiences singing in numerous funk, jazz, contemporary, fusion and
lounge ensembles. In 2005 Judite moved on towards the

Percussion/Vibraphone
Bronwen
performs frequently with various groups around Cape Town. Her styles range from Jazz,
African and Latin to Pop. She recently performed with Bheki Khoza as well
as Frank Biyong and Massak at the Pan African Space Station Festival. She is
currently a member of the UCT Big Band and she also performs regularly with the
Cape Philharmonic Orchestra.

Vocalist/Composer
Lelani has been singing
since the age of ten. She has received training from various coaches including
jazz vocals, pop and rock. Lelani is a gifted
songwriter and has recorded 4 albums with her twin sister as the duet “Take2”.
Theo Crous recorded their fourth album, shortly after which they got signed up
with Rhythm records. Lelani is currently in an alternative/hardrock band
“TATUM”. Their first single “The Parade” is featured on the Bellville Rock
City compilation. It’s
currently play listed on various radio stations. Lelani also has extensive
experience in recording jingles and adverts.

Vocalist/Composer
This multi-talented singer/songwriter has been singing since
the age of ten. She has received professional vocal training from various
coaches of various genres including pop, rock and jazz. Leandi and her twin
sister recorded four albums together under the name Take2. Theo Crouse recorded
the fourth album and soon after Rhythm Records signed them. They are mostly
recognized for their melodic vocals and impressive harmonies. Leandi is
currently the vocalist for an alternative/ hardrock band called TATUM. Their
first single “The Parade” is featured on the compilation,

Percussion/Digeridoo
Ronan’s musical career
started age ten with seven years of classical French horn training in
Germany. He was then introduced to the Australian Didgeridoo by master
drummer, Emmanuel Gomado from Ghana which sparked many new avenues and
collaborations. After much self teaching and musical travels Ronan was
fortunate to meet a great Tabla maestro. Having been passionate about
percussion and always keen on the Tabla this new chapter couldn’t have
come too soon. Ronan began playing Tabla in 2002. His teacher, Ustad
Akram Khan is India’s master of a very rich and intricately technical
north Indian style known as the Ajarara Gharana. As a disciple
continuous learning is the focus and Ronan regularly visits India to
further his studies. Major influences like Shakti and Trilok Gurtu have
led to exploring a fusion of tabla, percussion and didgeridoo within
one context by means of a hybrid percussion kit designed by Ronan. This
has become part of his permanent set-up and demonstrates a rich
textural variety as well as an intriguing versatility. Ronan has
performed in S.A., Europe and India and has featured on many recordings
and film scores. He currently lives in Cape Town S.A.Some noteworthy
collaborations include recent performances with Johnny Clegg, Ricardo
Garcia from Spain, Jazzart, Freshlyground and Cherif Sisokho from
Senegal.

Keyboardist/Pianist
Bokani
Macha graduated first class from the South African college of music
majoring in jazz performance and composition. Working now mainly as a
session pianist/keyboardist, he has performed and toured extensively
with many well known artists around South Africa and further afield.
Artists include Jimmy Dludlu, Judith Sephuma, Iridium Project, Moreira
Project, Restless Natives etc. Macha is also the leader of 2 bands
namely the 'Bokani Macha trio' and 'Plan Be' playing his original music.

Guitar/Bass
Andre Ferreira is a freelance guitarist and bassist based in Cape Town, South Africa. He completed his studies – Bmus (honours) specializing in jazz at the University of Cape Town in 2004. Andre is a member of a wide variety of groups covering various musical styles varying from jazz to pop. Some of the groups he plays with are; Sneakerbox - original break beat inspired funk / jazz.,Sepia jazz quartet, Saber - pop/rock cover band, Vuvuzela, Back Porcelain and the Dino Miranda Band.
