The Abbott Network is predominantly a studio band that was initiated by Abbott Audio Recording Studio Cape Town during 2009. The band was put together in order to record albums for release and songs for public broadcast. The bands repertoire can be best described as fusion. You could expect to here influences from across the globe with strong authentic rhythms and soulful melodic attributes. The ensemble crosses through many musical genres such as jazz, funk, rock, dub, pop and lounge just to name a few. The Abbott Network is also known for being the live backing band to solo artist Lindiwe Suttle. Lindiwe Suttle is one of the three vocal artists who feature on The Abbott Network's debut album CHAPTER ONE.
